With an account at Family And Heirs, your family will know your wishes and instructions, and have immediate access to your important documents, when you pass. We provide encrypted secure storage where your heirs can read your answers to our Pre-Planning questions, so they will know your information, instructions and wishes.  They will also have immediate access to the latest version of your Will or Trust and your other important documents.

We ask numerous questions in many categories to provide your family with the important answers they will need, answers that are not found in anyone's Will or Trust. Upload your important documents and papers, as well as some of your treasured photographs. All of your information and documents are securely stored, encrypted, and password-protected.

You'll get two passwords: an Account Password, and our unique “Read-Only” Password that will allow those you authorize to view your information but not to make any changes. Each of your two passwords serve as your decryption keys.  All your information is held in encrypted form on our server.  No one can see your data without one of your secure passwords.  We've never been hacked, but if we ever were, they'd only find useless encrypted data.

At Family And Heirs, you can provide your family with answers to the numerous questions they find too difficult and awkward to ask you: type of funeral desired, religious requirements, where you have bank and stock accounts, safety deposit boxes, to whom the mortgage or the rent is paid, and many, many other important questions.  We even ask about rehoming the dog or cat, and about family history, and even family recipes, that you'd like to pass down to those who remain.
